一、教案背景 1,面向学生:初中九年级 2,学科:英语 3,课时:1 课时 4,学生课前准备: (1) 、预习本课时教学内容。 (2) 、利用网络搜索 the history of basketball 二、教学课题: Reading:Do you know when basketball was invented? 教养方面: 围绕着“Inventions”这个话题,通过熟悉我们周围经常使用发明物的历史来开阔眼 界,丰富自己的阅历,使自己养成勤于思考,善于总结的好习惯;学习并掌握被动语态的有 关知识:学习 Mind-mapping 的阅读策略。 教育方面: 通过本节课的教学,一方面使学生掌握课文当中出现的重点词,词组的用法,以及运用本 单元的阅读策略来理解课文;另一方面对学生进行思想教育,提高自己的英语水平有很多种 方式,尽可能找出适合自己的方式来提高成绩.珍惜时间,努力学习,为祖国的美好明天做出 自己应有的贡献. 发展方面:珍惜时间,努力学习,为人类的科学发明做贡献. 三、教材分析 本节课是人教版新目标英语第九单元第四部分的阅读内容,是本单元前三部知识的升 华, 是单元教学的延续.依据新课标对本节课的要求。 通过本节课的教学,一方面使学生掌握 课文当中出现的重点词,词组的用法,以及运用本单元的阅读策略来理解课文, 尤其是将本单 元被动语态融合在极其真实的语境中,有助于学生进一步理解其结构,掌握其用法。但是, 作为以介绍阅读策略为主的拓展性阅读,本课时又可以被看成是自成一体,独立成章。另一 方面, 通过本课学习使学生懂得人类的科学发明创造了丰富的物质文明。 培养学生的创造发 明的能力和愿望。珍惜时间,努力学习,为祖国的美好明天做出自己应有的贡献. 知识目标 1) Target vocabulary: active, divide, aim, metal hoop, shoot, court, popularity, create, wooden, knock into, basket, guide, below etc. 2) Expression: answer the questions with passive voice. 能力目标 Learn to grasp information easily using mind-mapping 情感态度价值观 1、使学生懂得人类的科学发明创造了丰富的物质文明。 2、培养学生的创造发明的能力和愿望。 四、教学方法 1、教学方法:情境引入法、直观教学法、任务驱动法。 2、学习方法:自主法、合作法、探究式法。 一、Learning and teaching arrangement: Step 1 Lead-in【百度百科】南非世界杯主题曲

They can predict today’s topic “sports” easily, then ask three easy questions : 1. Do you often do sports? 2. What sports do you usually do? 3. Can you list eight sports played in China? Show some pictures of sports in China. (Where do we play it?) We can play on the court. (There are two basketball stands, what are on their tops?) A basket is made up of the metal hoop and net. There is a backboard behind for guiding the ball into the basket. 3.Q: How was basketball played? How can you get the ball into the basket? After talking freely, get students to learn the target words “divide, aim, shoot, towards” in sentences. e.g. Players are __divided___into _ two teams_______. They move towards one end of the __court___ while throwing the ball to each other. And the aim is to _get______ the ball into the basket.

设计意图:根据学生实际和教学需要,适当、灵活地调整教材中各环节顺序,符合新课 程理念。通过分解教材,先教掉部分的生词,降低他们的阅读难度。同时,这也是本文的重 点部分,在前面的时间先教给学生,因为前半部分的时间学生的注意力是最集中的,上课的 效果也是最好的,相信学生对知识点的巩固也是最好的。 Step 3 Reading practice 1.①fast reading :which are not mentioned in the passage? By James Naismith. ③Why were the Berlin Olympics important for basketball? Because since then the popularity of basketball has risen worldwide. ④What is the aim of basketball?

Find ALL the sentences with the passive tense in the article and circle them! 设计意图:通过课后作业,使学生所学内容能得到及时查漏补缺,养成良好学习习惯, 及时巩固所学内容,真正达到被动语态的运用。 _______________________________________________________________________________ 五 教学评价设计: 评价内容:学生自主探究的完成情况。速读问题的回答,精读问题的回答。复述篇章的 情况以及练习的完成情况 评价方法:口头评价:wonderful/excellent/ you are great/clever/a cute boy etc 肢体语言:击掌(同学间或师生间)教师的微笑 教师轻轻的抚摸等 学生自评和小组评议相结合 持续鼓励式评议 四、教学反思 这是一篇英语阅读教学课文, 掌握英语阅读技巧和培养学生英语阅读能力是英语教师教 学的一个重要内容,不管是从学习英语的目的或者应用来看,还是学生英语考试来看,能快 速准确地理解英语短文,是非常重要的。因此在教学中,本节课教学主要是以学生为主的自 主学习和任务型教学为主: 让在这个过程中以小组竞争的形式体验阅读的乐趣并让学生掌握 阅读策略,和重在培养学英语生阅读的好习惯和提高学生的英语阅读能力。 我这节课可谓成功的一节课,学生学得很轻松,老师也很轻松,这主要归结于 1、任务 型教学法的正确使用和学生为中心的教学理念指导思想观念是教学策略的核心和灵魂。 任何 一种教学策略的运用都是教师教学思想的具体化和操作化,虽然有时教师自己都没有意识 到,但这是客观存在的。 根据初中三年级的学生英语学习情况, 以及他们的生理和心理特点, 如上课不太积极, 不爱举手发言等,以及本课教学内容多,容量大,阅读课文教学气氛比较单调乏味等特点, 而采取了任务型教学和激励教学法,调动了学生的学习积极性,让他们主动参与课堂,从而 轻松阅读并理解文章。任务型教学具有一定目的性,自主性,意义性和实际性,本课又与学 生周边的真实情景相联系,所以采用任务型教学非常有效。 第二个亮点是以学生自主学习为主要形式,采取小组合作和竞争学习形式,充分发挥 学生的学习主动性和竞争性。以及听、说、读、写结合的学习方法,为了培养学生学习英语 的综合能力,我将在教学中引导学生专心听,学会跟读和正确发音,鼓励学生大胆说,积极
