This standard defines the requirements for belts in seat belts. 2 2.1 Requirements Basic Specifications

Approval of first supply and changes according to VW 011 55. Emission behavior according to VW 501 80 and guideline for use no. 3211 issued by Audi laboratory in Ingolstadt, Germany. Avoidance of hazardous substances according to VW 911 01. At least 40 m belt or belt assemblies with the same overall belt length are required for a complete examination. The belt ends must be protectively treated so that they are prevented from fraying. In addition, the requirements per TL 471, TL 825 00 and TL 825 01 must be met. Sections marked with a documentation bar are subject to mandatory documentation if the TL number in the drawing is also marked with a bar or if a corresponding TLD number appears in the drawing. Documentation shall be kept on file for 10 years. 2.2 2.2.1 Types TL 524 54, Type Without Index

The specified numerical values apply for each individual measurement. 2.6 Conditioning

Prior to testing, the specimens must be conditioned for at least 24 h at (23 ± 2)° C and 63 +4-3 % relative humidity. The specimens per Table 1, Nos. 7 and 8 must also be conditioned as described above after they have been exposed to the respective stresses.

According to ECE Regulation No. 16, Section 7.4.1.2, Maximum Tensile Force after Exposure to Xenon Arc Radiation per EN ISO 105-B02. The belt must be exposed to the light until the blue scale level has changed to such an extent that it corresponds to the contrast of the gray scale level 4 per EN 20 105-A02.
